  • Overview

    This role supports IT and business operations by analyzing business process needs and implementing technology based solutions. The individual will be responsible for the full software implementation lifecycle: requirements, design, configure, test, document, train, implement, management, and on-going support.


    Project management, technical ability, problem solving, and communication are some of the critical skills required for this role. The individual must be able to work directly with users to understand business challenges, interpret requirements, apply available technologies, and implement or configure appropriate solutions. The individual must also be able to work efficiently with minimal oversight. Experience supporting user-facing technologies, training individuals or groups, creating technical documentation, implementation solutions, and systems management are also required for this position.


    Essential Functions:

    1. Perform needs assessments and analysis for an assortment of business processes
    2. Procure, implement, and maintain software solutions
    3. Must work closely with the company’s IT groups (applications and operations)
    4. Must collaborate effectively with end users and business leaders
    5. Assess audience and communicate effectively with individuals and groups of all background types
    6. Provide user training for supported systems
    7. Promote effective use of appropriate tools for specific user requests
    8. Support users of Microsoft Office and other standard productivity tools
    9. Build reports and/or dashboards associated with data in supported systems
    10. Document all phases of systems/projects within area of responsibility
    11. Evaluate current and potential software packages for satisfaction of business requirements and technical consistency
    12. Manage software licensing contracts, types (network, node), and user counts
    13. Enforce all aspects of the company security policy within their control
    14. Report regularly on technical output including quantity, quality, and timeliness
    15. Frequent local travel between facilities to manage multiple projects
    16. Technical support of systems and software applications, in addition to desktop and hardware support as needed.


    1. BS in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field preferred
    2. Minimum of 4 years of experience managing and implementing business applications
    3. Experience with SharePoint, Microsoft Project, preferred
    4. Must have strong listening skills
    5. Must have strong verbal and written communication skills Including ability to present professionally
    6. Must have strong problem solving and decision-making skills
