The main business is the supply of flexible metal hoses for complicated exhaust system for both on-road and off-road applications that are driven by more restrictive emission regulations.  Our West Lebanon, IN facility has an opening for a 2nd Shift Production Supervisor.


    Responsible for directing production and production workforce in order to meet customer demands by producing the highest quality part in a safe and timely manner.


    Essential Functions:

    1. Accomplishes manufacturing staff results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
    2. Maintains staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees; developing personal growth opportunities.
    3. Maintains work flow by monitoring steps of the process; setting processing variables; observing control points and equipment; monitoring personnel and resources; studying methods; implementing cost reductions; developing reporting procedures and systems; facilitating corrections to malfunctions within process control points; initiating and fostering a spirit of cooperation within and between departments.
    4. Completes production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel; accomplishing work results; establishing priorities; monitoring progress; revising schedules; resolving problems; reporting results of the processing flow on shift production summaries.
    5. Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
    6. Ensures operation of equipment by calling for repairs; evaluating new equipment and techniques.
    7. Provides manufacturing information by compiling, initiating, sorting, and analyzing production performance records and data; answering questions and responding to requests.
    8. Creates and revises systems and procedures by analyzing operating practices, record-keeping systems, forms of control, and budgetary and personnel requirements; implementing change.
    9. Maintains safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of all control points, equipment, and resources; maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures.
    10. May be expected to be trained, train and lead areas such as overall plant safety, 1st aid, quality, shipping, etc. based on shift assignment.
    11. Resolves problems by analyzing data; investigating issues; identifying solutions; recommending action in accordance with company policy and procedure.
    12. Lead and/or assist in the planning and implementing of continuous improvement initiatives (TFPS, Operational Excellence, Lean Manufacturing Principals)
    13. Review and approve production workforce timecards



    1. High School diploma or GED required; Advanced Degree (Bachelor’s, or Associate’s) preferred
    2. 3+ years’ supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
    3. Must be willing to work shift, overtime, and weekends
    4. Strong team building, decision-making, and people management skills
    5. Strong attention to detail
    6. Ability to enter and/or correct production data in Epicor system
    7. Ability to read and understand engineering prints
    8. Proficient in MS Office
    9. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    10. Ability to safely operate forklift & electric pallet jack
    11. Based on shift assignment, may be responsible for departments outside of production (i.e. safety, 1st aid response, shipping, quality, etc.)


    Physical Summary

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use his/her hands, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, talk or hear. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Hearing capacity required to maximize ability to understand all verbal communication and react accordingly.
