Tru-Flex has an immediate opening for a CAD Drafter, designing customer assemblies and component parts in both 2D and 3D CAD. Full or Part time (3 days/week) opportunity available in West Lebanon or Indianapolis.

Responsibilities

 

  1. Designing assemblies and component parts in 3D CAD utilizing Autodesk Inventor.
  2. Creating 2D drawings from 3D models according to general drafting standards.
  3. Work with customer supplied models/drawings.
  4. Interpret customer drawings and internally marked up drawings.
  5. Assist in documentation related to the engineering/development process by completing related forms and documentation related to engineering and project tracking.

Qualifications

  1. High School Diploma or GED required, Associate degree preferred
  2. 1 year of previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
  3. Previous experience in Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD preferred
  4. Proficiency in use of Microsoft Office Suite
  5. Excellent written and oral communications skills
  6. Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
  7. Analytical and problem solving skills
  8. Knowledge/experience of general drafting standards
